Now that I've mastered Twitter it's time to tackle another beast...my blog!!!
Here's an except from my life last week I hope you find it entertaining:
The time is a little after Noon on a Tuesday at Starbucks.
I sit down for all of 10 mintues to take a load off with my Grande Americano. There are two leather-y chairs and they face out but slightly in. A girl about my age is sitting in the other one. I sit down and all of 1.5 minutes goes by before she says to me:
'Excuse me is it about 3pm or a little after 3pm?'
I say (because I'm currently emailing on my Blackberry & I don't own a watch) 'no, I think it's a little after Noon, maybe 12:05'
She says
'Oh gosh wow I had more time than I thought I didn't realize it was so early!!'
I politely nod and say no big deal
A few minutes pass and she whips out her flip phone and declares
'Ah I see it is only a little after Noon I guess I could have looked at my phone!'
Right...
Then the best part comes. S-bucks is located right by a Trimet bus stop.
She looks at me and says
'out of curiosity how early do you think that the people should get to the bus stop? I mean because sometimes it seems like they're there about 30 minutes before the bus comes. And that's a long time to wait don't you think?'
At this point I am perplexed, I don't know what to say...I mean how do I EVEN answer this? I'm trying not to laugh so I say
'Uh I dunno'
She says
'oh sorry to bother you I just was wondering'
So I'm waiting for my exit, I go back to emailing on the BB but really I need to get outta here - pronto. She gets up to put something in her coffee and I bust out of there.
I think she lost her marbles awhile ago. She wasn't a bum I mean she was dressed typical NW style on a rainy day.
